FLAIL STYLE ROCK-BYPASS BEATERS
When spreading dry pen pack, feedlot compost, or bedded dairy manure, field stones and foreign obstacles inevitably enter the spreader. On conventional machines, rigid helical flighting bends, curls, or snaps upon impact.
TerraKat vertical beaters utilize heavy hinged swinging flails. Upon striking hard foreign obstacles, the flail yields backward without transferring destructive shock loads through the drive shafts. Centrifugal rotation immediately returns the flail forward into active shredding position.

TG1000 HEAVY GEARBOX (PATENT PENDING)

DUAL SLAT LOG CHAIN APRON & PAN SPINNERS
Rather than light sheet conveyor chains that stretch and twist, TerraKat spreaders feature a Dual Slat Log Chain Floor Apron. Heavy-duty heat-treated round links resist elongation and shed debris cleanly, preventing chain binding under 25 to 34 ton payloads.
At the discharge rear, high-speed Pan Spinners catch the shredded material from the vertical beaters and broadcast it evenly across the swath for an even, balanced nutrient application.
